The school year in our district was end and kids are getting into summer vacation last weekend. However, they have Japanese school as usual and there are special classes in summer time to catch up Japanese education program next two weeks. It will be Tuesday to Saturday, 5 days a week for next two weeks. It is busy for kids!
Last weekend, we went to Shoreline Park in Mountain View where is close to Google offices while kids were in Japanese school. People can take a walk along San Francisco bay. There were many people who took a walk, ran and do biking on the trail. It was cool early in the morning, but it was getting hot around noon. We were sweating at the end.
There are many options depending on how much time people have. Some people turn around based on time. Many people who ride a bike might take around a loop which is about 6 miles. The view over the bay is really nice. However the only problem is there is no shade except close to the packing lots, it might be too hot. Since it was getting hot, we turned around and had a lunch in downtown Mountain View. After that, we picked our kids up at the schools.
I think this is a good place to spend some time when people have some spare time.
